Cashlance Privacy Policy

Cashlance ("the app", "we") is a money manager for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app uses and what happens to it. In short: your financial data stays on your phone, and we do not collect it.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. There is no account, no login and no Cashlance server. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not sell or share your data.

2. Information stored on your device

The app stores the following only on your iPhone, using Apple's on-device storage:

• Accounts, balances and account categories
• Transactions, notes, categories and recurring transactions
• Bookmarks, budget and app settings (such as your default currency and reminder time)

This information never leaves your device through the app. If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or your computer, Apple may include the app's data in that backup under Apple's own privacy terms. If you delete the app, its data is removed from your device.

3. Camera and receipt scanning

If you scan a receipt, the app uses your camera or a photo you choose. The text is read on your phone with Apple's built-in text recognition. The photo is not saved and is not sent to us or to anyone else. The app asks for camera permission the first time you use this feature, and you can turn it off at any time in iPhone Settings.

4. Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, the app schedules a notification on your phone at the time you choose. It is created and delivered locally. We do not use a push notification server. You can turn the reminder off in the app or in iPhone Settings.

5. Internet connections

The app connects to the internet only to:

• Get exchange rates. The app requests currency and cryptocurrency rates from public rate services (including a currency data service and Coinbase's public price data). These requests do not contain your accounts, transactions or personal details.
• Show brand logos. When you type a note, the app may request a small logo image for a brand name from Google's icon service. The request contains the brand's website address, not your data.

Like any internet request, these services can see your device's IP address and basic technical details. We do not receive or store this information. Each service applies its own privacy policy.

6. Children

Cashlance does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

7. Your choices and rights

Because we do not collect or hold your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. You can edit or delete any of your data inside the app, and you can remove all of it by deleting the app.

8. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example by adding advertising or optional subscriptions, we will update this policy and the date above before the change reaches you. Where required, we will ask for your permission first.
